At the open event held at the ministry of Culture in Athens yesterday, November 29 to present the results of the last two seasons of excavation, 2012-2014, head of the excavation at the Kasta Tomb Katerina Peristeri released for the first time photos of the skeleton found in an underground chamber inside the tomb.
The photos were taken by the excavators and show the fragments of the skeleton as they were found inside the chamber, including the skull, the lower jaw, large bones of legs and arms and parts of the spine and the pelvis.
It should be noted that the fact that the pelvis was very fragmented prevents the archaeologists from identifying the sex of the person.
